I have recently returned from vacation in cape verde. During my stay I undertook training at your facility at santa maria, sal, and was sucessfull in completing the PADI open water diver course.
I am writing to say thankyou to all the staff in santa maria who were friendly, understanding, patient and above all very nice people. My special thanks goes to Phillipa Perez who was very patient and gave me a great amount of confidence in her ability to instruct me to a high standard.
Whenever we were in open water I felt safe knowing how good a diver she is and how calm and collected she was. I hope to go diving again very soon and hopefully in the not too distant future dive with Scuba Caribe. Will you please pass my thanks on to Scubacaribe, Cabo Verde.

Just a little note of thanks - I had a great time with your team in Cape Verde and I want to especially thank Leo, Filipa, Francesca and Fernando - all instructors with whom I had the pleasure to dive. The instructors are highly professional, security oriented and very friendly and the support team are hard working, equally helpful and supportive.
In particular Filipa suggested to me to do my advanced diving certificate and she and Leo were instrumental with my training and assisting with the theoretical issues (don't mention THE WHEEL!!! though.).
Last year I had the pleasure if experiencing your team on Dominican Republic at Riu Bambu and was equally impressed with your service there (had German dive leader).
So I hope this feedback helps you to maintain your high standard of operation and I hope to experience more of it in the years to come at the various locations you operate.

Hello! I would like to let scubacaribe Directors and Ana Pires know how I feel about the Open Water scubadiver course I had in Cape Verde. I was always curious about going underwater with an oxigen tank on my back but never had such a good oportunity to try it has I had in Cape Verde.
I contacted scubacaribe staff who let me and my girfriend try scubadiving in the pool which was a good trial specialy for being free which helped convince my girlfriend to go with me!
After a good start, it just got better as I met the diving instructor Ana Pires who was always ready to help. She was always relaxed and patient and that made me feel confident, happy and motivated about this new adventure! I can say that Ana helped me a lot to enjoy diving as I never expected! I feel motivated to join more adventures underwater and I'll never forget my first experience in Cape Verde.

See ScubaCaribe Next Time. Just for your knowledge, in May of this year, we visit Rep. Dominican, and we stay in Bahia Principe Bavaro, and there is a ScubaCaribe also, and the 3 dives we made each, there was also fantastic, the team of that Hotel was also great. Riviera Maya - México (09/10/2009 to 17/10/2009) Me and my wife, Just arrive from our third time in Mexico. This time we stay on Riu Yucatan.
We like to dive, speciality on the warm waters of México. So we have the lucky to have the ScubaCaribe Dive centre on our Hotel.
All the people on this dive centre where fantastic: DAVID (Manager), an excellent person, always friendly, always prepare to help in any question, Fantastic, Thank you very much David, for everything. GUSTAVO (from Argentina) the instructor , 5* (five stars), in all dives we done with him, the professionalism, experience, knowledge, make the dives a lot more interesting, fun and beautifully.
Thanks very much for the fantastic Dive we done with you. "Cecilio", Everyday on the pool of the hotel another excellent member of the team. If we return to México, and I hope so, we will dive again with ScubaCaribe, the Respect they show, Professionalism, Security they put in all dives, was fantastic.

Die Tauchgänge in den Cenoten haben viel Spass bereitet. Besonders die Dos Ojos mit ihren eindrücklichen Hallen, Stalaktiten und Stalagmiten haben mich sehr beeindruckt. Sofern es mir möglich ist, komme ich gerne wieder einmal nach Mexiko um weitere Cenotentauchgänge mit der erfahrenen Scubacaribe - Basis durchzuführen. My wife, Dilys and I have just returned from a week's winter sun holiday at the Riu Garopa Hotel in Cape Verde. Since we had not dived for a year, we did a refresher course in the pool and a dive in the sea with Scuba Caribe. We would like to thank all the hardworking staff at Scuba Caribe, Cape Verde, and in particular our instructor, Sabiene. My name is Maria Mullin and I have recently returned home from a vacation in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Scuba diving was really the highlight of the trip and I cannot express enough appreciation toward the people that made it possible. Our dive center was located behind the Riu Palace in Riviera Maya.
Our "instructor-in-training" was Eric who conducted the pool lesson under the supervision of Master-diver Alex. Eric handled himself like a professional and took the time to calm the fears of a friend who was nervous about diving from the beginnning. Your company is very lucky to have not only a skilled diver, but also a patient teacher.
Alex conducted the actual dive. It was immediately obvious that this was a life-time passion for Alex. He made a scuba-lover out of every beginner on the trip. Thank you so much for the opportunity to learn from a true professional in the field. I will not forget to mention the worker who took care of all the details, Ms. Pamela.
She is such a wonderful advocate for your company and signed us up for a SECOND dive after we had completed the first one. If someone could send this message to their office as well as to the office of their superiors, I would greatly appreciate it!

I arrived home from Cabo Verde at 2:00am this morning after having a very relaxing time. I would like to thank you for arranging my diving, everything went as planned at the Funana. I did the Wednesday afternoon dive that you booked for me with Ben on the Santo Antao which I enjoyed. I did my other dives with Robin at Farol Fundo, Boris and the second dive of each day at different parts of Punta Preta Baixo. Both Ben and Robin were excellent guides, I was impressed with their attention to detail at the briefings and their attitude in and out of the water. I did not get a chance to dive with Emerson but spent some time chatting with him. He is a very pleasant man and made me fell welcome at the dive centre. Thank again Bianca, I hope that I will be able to dive with Scuba Caribe in the future, although next summer I will be holidaying in Aruba. Regards Mick

Having been home a few weeks now I thought it was about time I emailed you to tell you what a great time Ann and I had diving with Scubacaribe ( Cape Verde) and what a well run operation it turned out to be. We did most of our diving with Ben and White and what great lads they were but I feel a little disrespectfull to the rest of the staff as they were all so friendly and cheerfull and always helpfull. I have just returned from a short break in Cape verde (Sal island) and completed my Open Water diver qualification. The whole team was friendly, helpful and professional, making my experience very enjoyable whilst maintaining an excellent standard of teaching. Rebien, Sabini, Ben, Jamie and co (sorry i cant remember everyones names!) were great fun and I thoroughly recommend their services to anyone who is considering diving in Cape Verde. Thank you to the whole team for a great time.

Had a fab time at Puerto Plata, was really impressed with all the staff at Scubacaribe, especially Juan Garcia, my instructor. Learnt so much and worked really hard but it was so worth it when I could go diving as an open water diver. No se si lo recordará, pero tuve ocasión de visitar el CENTRO QUE DIRIGE EN CABO VERDE, EN LA ISLA LA SAL y compartí cuatro inmersiones con el personal del centro, a finales de febrero del presente año,durante un fin de semana de estancia en ese país.
Tengo una titulación Rescue de Padi y más de 550 inmersiones y experiencias de buceo en muy diferentes clubes de diversos países, porque además en el pasado estuve destinada en Iberoamérica. Y le quiero decir, que puede estar muy satisfecho del resultado de su trabajo en el club, en lo referente tanto a formación del personal (sin duda, lo más importante) como a la calidad del material y a su mantenimiento.
Como decía, lo más importante el personal. Bien preparados, hacen las inmersiones con muchas medidas de seguridad y, además, con muy buen ambiente, tanto en el barco como en el propio centro.
Siento la tardanza en escribir, pero han sido razones de trabajo. Muchas gracias por sus atenciones, por su estupenda acogida, y, sobre todo, enhorabuena por el trabajo tan bien hecho. Un afectuoso saludo.

Comment: My wife Laurie and I have just returned home from our stay at the Gran Bahai Principe at Runnaway Bay .
We very much enjoyed our stay and the facilites were excellent. Of course the people we met and all the staff made it that much more enjoyable. Everyone was wonderful.
I would like to particularly thank all the staff at Scuba Caribe - the dive masters Pablo,Robert,Kevin,the boat captain "Jack Sparrow"(surely not his real name)
and all the lovely ladies who run the show at the office. (Sorry I don't know everyone's name.)
I did a lot of diving during my stay and it really made the trip for me. I also met alot of great fellow divers who I now consider my friends from ports of call all over. Our groups consisted of all sorts of divers from experienced to first timers and everyone I think had a great experience. Everyone had a sucessful dive, some with a bit of jitters initially but the staff and divmasters handled everyone with "kid gloves" and we had no divers unable to complete their dive. I felt they also did an excellent job of accommodating divers of different levels.
I would particularly like to mention my time spent with Percival Plummer, aka "Pablo" both in the water and in our brief talks out of the water and from the perspective of a customer. He of course did an excellent job as a diving instructor and dive guide but he also has an exceptional way of handling clients and the people he works with. Through my time spent with him as a customer, in watching him handle other customers and staff, and in brief discussions with him I came away somewhat enlightened about how to treat people and how to run a business. I hope I can emmulate some of that in how I run my business. (I have been running my own company for 26 years.) I know for sure that I would have happier customers.
By the way I also had great dives, saw a spotted eagle wray, was close enough I could have touched a sea turtle, and got my Advanced Certification.

I am pleased to report that we had excellent service in all of our dealings with Scubacaribe. From the booking of our dives over the internet to our excellent instructor Pablo Plummer at the Gran Bahia at Runaway Bay , all of it was handled with great care and attention to the customer and our needs.
Donna Lynn and I would like to thank Scubacaribe for making our trip to Jamaica that much more memorable. We received our Open Water certification cards today in the mail.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Bahia Principe in Rio San Juan for 2 weeks just recently and all I can say is, we had an excellent time!!! The ScubaCaribe staff at the Bahia Principe were amazing! I can't remember everyone's name, but Luis and Daniel definitely stood out! We had the privilege of meeting Luis, who convinced us to try snorkelling. Although both my girlfriend and I experienced a bad case of motion sickness during our snorkelling trip, Luis and his crew took real good care of us, always checking to see if we were ok. Despite not feeling well, I'm really glad we went out on the snorkelling trip with Luis and his crew. Meeting Luis definitely made our stay at the resort that much more enjoyable and memorable! Daniel was always at the front counter whenever we passed by the ScubaCaribe booth and was very helpful in answering any questions/queries we had. To Luis and his fellow co-workers, keep up the good work! We hope to be back real soon!

I just want you to know about the wonderfull time I had diving at Plya Del Carmen. My family and I stayed at the Riu Yucatan from the 14th of December to the 21st. I scheduled 6 dives with Scuba Caribe. Before I could go out I needed to take a orientaiton session with Edwardo. I had not dove for the past 12 years. You know what they say about Diving and riding a bicycle. Well a few techniques and methods did change but it was the professional instruction and encouragement that Edwardo offered that resored my love for the sport. I couldn't wait to jump off that boat and hit the bottom. You need to know that diving with your comapany was a very pleasent experience. I was most impressed with the commitment each dive master and dive center employee displayed for safety and wanting to make sure every diver completed a fun-filled diving experience, I sure did. I cannot end this corresponence without mentioning Earnesto and Marceo (spelling not sure) for thier tallents and professional approach to this sport I so dearly enjoy. I will be using the services of ScubaCaribe in the future. Once again Thank You for a great vacation Diving Experince.

Comment: While in Punta Cana over the Thanksgiving Holiday, I took severals dives with the staff from Scuba Caribe. It was the first time I had done an ocean dive, and the divemasters were very considerate and understanding, especially when I "freaked out" the first day and couldn't go underwater. Anyway the guys who worked with the Pardisus Palma Real were GREAT. I look forward to diving again there sometime in the future.

Descubrí Scuba Caribe en el Hotel Riu Funana de Cabo Verde el noviembre de 2005 poco después de su apertura (Juan Carlos). Pero ha sido hace dos semanas que hice las inmersiones de mi vida en la Riviera Maya (Mexico) con el staff del centro que tienen en Hotel Palladium Kantenah. Gracias Jesús, Amaya, José Luis (Puerto Aventura), Roberto (Cozumel) y los demás por el valor que añadís al servicio, por la organización y por la seguridad que se respira. Fue tan sorprendente ver a mi esposa hacer snorkel en mar abierto como ir con el OWD y volverme con la certificación ADVANCE sin haberlo previsto. La próxima el Rescue en Jamaica o en Republica Dominicana, con SC claro!

Ich, Michael Will (Rollstuhlfahrer, CMAS** Taucher) aus Deutschland war im März im Bahia Principe Bavaro untergebracht. Das Hotel sowie das Tauchen und die Ausflüge mit Scubacaribe haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Besonders gefreut habe ich mich über das sehr hilfsbereite Team, das mich durch den zwar schönen, für mich aber leider unpraktischen, Sandstrand gezogen und mir in die Boote geholfen hat. Hola! We just returned from Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. We stayed at Sunscape the Beach and discovered the wonderful world of diving. We finished the Open Water Diver course during our stay. The ScubaCaribe staff at Sunscape the Beach are excellent, helpful, professional and friendly. A big thank you to you all and especially to Alfredo, D\'Leon, Miguel, Nano, Vianel, Julia and Julio. You are the best!!! We miss you and can\'t wait to return and go diving again with you guys! Hola,- I am so glad you have this website, so I can take the opportunity to pass on our feelings regarding our wonderful experience with your fantastic staff. We have been home for 2 wks now, after spending 2 wks at the Grand Palladium Colonial in Mexico. I still can\'t get over the wonderful time we had there! It was my first time at an all-inclusive resort, and my first experience with snorkeling and scuba; and it won\'t be my last. I have to give praise to our instructor, Pedro, who was very patient, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made the experience fun, and gave us the courage, as well as the wish to further our scuba experience. Unfortunately, because of Bill\'s heart health, we were advised to have his own doctor here, give him the permission he needed to go deep sea diving, so we had to settle for snorkeling instead. But Pedro again made that an enjoyable experience, and was not just a wonderful instructor, but just a great guy. We did go on a snork
eling expedition to the coral reef area at Akumel, and thoroughly enjoyed our excursion, again with the wonderful staff\'s help & guidance. I\'m sorry I didn\'t catch the names of the boat driver, & the guide [name starts with an \'F\', I believe], but they were great; always friendly, smiling, and considerate.
The counter staff were also very nice, & helpful, esp. Flor, and Joel. [I hope the names are spelled right.]
Anyways, we look forward to continuing our snorkeling adventures, and will also someday continue working on getting into the deep water, scuba diving. We credit Pedro with giving us, not only the courage and enjoyment of our first try, but the urge to try again, and keep going with it. We had a wonderful time. Thanks again for everything, Pedro!! Dear Scuba Caribe: Just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time I had scuba diving in Cozumel with you Tuesday, 24-01-2006 ... mainly because of Lot. My husband and son don\'t scuba so I go alone, which at times can be very uncomfortable for a woman my age. But Lot made me feel right at home. He is a gentleman and a very nice person! He was a great help with the equipment, too. He\'s just the best! I will definitely dive with you again and again ... and I hope you will honor my requst for Lot every time! Thank you!

Ayer recibimos mi compañera Ainhoa y yo el certificado que nos acredita como buceadores open water y no podemos olvidar felicitar a quienes, con su buen hacer y profesionalidad, nos enseñaron a practicar este deporte y a quererlo hace escasos dos meses en el dive center del Kantennah Paladium en Riviera Maya.
Vaya, pues, nuestro agradecimiento a René, en primer lugar, nuestro instructor y amigo, a Carol, la cara más agradable de la recepción, a César, qué buen dvd nos hiciste, hermano (que os vaya requetelindo “familia”), a Flor, Joel, Sanchez (qué tío más grande), a Reynaldo, a Joel, a Fernando y, por supuesto, a Stipo que los lidera magníficamente con muy buen ambiente pero con rigor.

I\'ve stayed at gran bahia principe, there was also a padi dive school, due to bad wheather we could not dive in front of the hotel beach, to the whrek of astor and many more dive sites on the atlantic side,then they offered me to join them to catalina isla,( which i did, and not regret),it was a very good dive site,herefore i would like to thank the dive team from padi at bahia, especially,Silke Hoeffert,Frank,chris and Emiliano for the good info and guidance.........thx again and hope to meet in the future at one of the padi centers..

Hello, we are sending you a set of photos from our recent diving trip to Bahia Principe, San Juan , Dominican Republic .
We had an intercontinental family reunion at your dive resort, with eleven family members coming from Switzerland and the USA . It was a perfect place to meet and teach our younger members about diving. Your professional staffs, Marie and Dean were fantastic teachers! They speak many languages and it made it easy for our kids to learn to dive and pass the courses. Family reunions can be really fun! We can hardly wait to do it again! I just wanted to let you know that I had a wonderful experience while diving in the waters of the Mayan Riviera because of your staff at the Palladium Grand Resort. During my stay ( 3 - 10 November 2005 ), your staff provide me with all of the courtesy and service that I would expect from a professional dive center. This is especially important after the terrible natural disaster of Hurricane Wilma.
Stipo (Manager), Pedro (instructor), Cesar (photography), "Sanchez" (boat captain), Reynaldo (boat crewman), and Carolina (desk/sales) were absolutely marvelous in their customer service skills and performance. Given that the conditions after Hurricane Wilma were not as favorable as they used to be, they were able to make the best of the situation and allow me to enjoy a wonderful diving experience and become Advance Open Water Diver certified during my stay.
I cannot thank them enough for their cordial and friendly attitude and the hard work that they put forth to allow me to enjoy diving the waters in and around Playa del Carmen. Even with the devastation that the waters around Playa del Carmen suffered, the Palladium Scubacaribe crew was able to show me the beauty and diversity of the ocean waters of Playa del Carmen.
This crew is a wonderful asset to your organization and I thank you and them for providing such a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the sport of diving. Very respectfully, Eric A. Medina

Just returned from Cancun and have completed my certification for my open water with the Scubacaribe Staff at the Riu Palace . I hope I get the names correctly; I wanted to give recognition to Abraham and Rene, along with everyone else on staff from the girls at the counter to the young guy that passes out the equipment. They are a great group of energetic, professional people. My experience was totally positive. I am very satisfied that I chose your organization to complete my certification. I have already watched my DVD of my fourth certification dive twice. I look forward to the next opportunity that I can dive with your organization.

Ya hace casi un año estuve en la Riviera Maya y allí conocí una pasada de gente ellos son mis amigos de Scuba Caribe en el hotel Palladium. Son una gente entrañable y maravillosa, me habían hablado de Scuba caribe pero nada que ver con lo que había oído, es mejor, un buceo de calidad insuperable. Recuerdos a todos ellos y espero que pronto nos volvamos a ver. Por cierto este Diciembre espero conocer a nuevos y entrañables compañeros en República Dominicana, el excelente trato y servicio de los de Riviera Maya me ha hecho decidir el Hotel, voy al Paradisus Punta Cana por el mero echo de bucear con Scuba Caribe. Muchisimas gracias a Scubacaribe por el trato recibido, la gente y medios que tienen en la base del Palladium Kantenah en la Riviera Maya, son increibles. No hemos podido hacer todas las inmersiones que nos hubiese gustado porque no teniamos dias suficientes para conocer esa preciosa zona y nos quedamos con las ganas de hacer mas. Nosotras ya teniamos el OWD que nos sacamos en España y era la primera vez que buceamos sin en lider de nuestro Club. Pedro nos acompaño durante la inmersión cuidando de todos; y que decir del resto de los chic@s con su atención y amabilidad, por revisarnos los equipos, por enseñarnos un poquito mas de este deporte. Hello, I am a French citizen, and I have spent with my family 2 weeks at the Riu
Melao Hotel at the end of July.
We have had with your diving center there 2 Advanced Open Water courses (for
my wife and myself), and 2 Open Water courses (for two of our children).
This message is simply to express that we have been very satisfied with the
way everything went: the staff (instructors Gregory and Chantal, divemaster
Juan Pablo, and base head Juan Alberto) has been very professional, and all
the people working there were really nice.
We enjoyed it very much, and we will recommend your diving center to our

I just returned from a vacation at the Bahia Principe Punta Cana. I wanted to let you know how good a job your dive staff did. In particular, Rigo, Herman and Marianno were a pleasure to dive with and they made me feel very safe . Rigo was also so comfortable to deal with that my 9.5 year old daughter went scuba diving in the pool without hesitating. It was very special for me to scuba with my daughter, even in the pool. Maybe we will dive in the ocean together some day.
I am not yet a certified diver but I have gone diving on resort dives before. While I am very comfortable under the water, getting in and out of the boat is a major concern for me because I am disabled and do not have full use of my legs.My disability did not scare your staff and they took real ca re to make sure I was comfortable getting to and from the boat. In particular, Rigo gives great piggy back rides.
I would like to personally thank Rigo, Herman and Marianno for everything. I now plan on getting my open water certification so I can spend more time in the ocean and less in the pool.

I just want to take the opportunity to say thanks to the people at the
Riu Palace diving center, namely Willy, Abraham, Sarah, Rigo, Andres,
Yayo and "Las Chicas"!
Willy has been very helpful and always had a smile on his face.
Abraham, Sarah and Rigo were excellent companions when diving the
phantastic local reefs. Andres and Yayo took care of the DVD and the
girls did the administration :-)
Two people I don't want to forget: Pablo and Daner from Scuba Caribe,
who took us to the Cenotes ("El Eden" & "Taj Maha") and la Isla
Cozumel. Excellent divers, fantastic dive spots!
Do I have to say anything about the divesites? No. Cool. :-)

Hello my name is dean larner im from england i have just past my open water
course and went to jamacia in negril riu tropical bay for a holiday.and i
was quite nervous diving in a different country but i want to say that i was
put at ease by one of you staff. i dont remeber his name but he was from
spain. i successfully done the dives and it was fantastic i shall be return
there next year and i will visiting him for some more dives and do my
advanced thank you very much and thank you for an excellant instructor.

I am not needing info but to want to send Riu Playacar a note just to let them know of the fantastic job Scuba Caribe did to accomodate us on our trip 11/6 through 11/12. The staff in the Scuba shop were very knowledgeable and and were able to make arrangements for us. We did not pre-arrange our diving itenery as we usually do and the staff went out of their way to make sure our experience was wonderful. The housekeeping services as well as the bar were also exceptional. We travel 2 sometimes 3 times a year and this was the first all inclusive and have come to the conclusion this is the way to go, we had a wonderful time. Thank you and I look forward to staying at another Riu resort in the future. Please pass this on to the appropriate person/people.
