Negril
Nowhere else in Jamaica or the Caribbean is there a greater variety of water sports available than in Negril. If it can be done in the ocean; it can be done in Negril. Negril was made famous by "drop-outs" and flower children who came from all over the world to drink tea and lie in the sun during the early 70's.
Perhaps this is part of the reason for the very laid-back lifestyle that you still find there today. Over the years hotels improved, and there is much more to see and do now, but Negril hasn't lost its charm. Spiritual people and free thinkers still flock here but they have business or medical degrees these days.
