And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This course focuses on refining your skills, allowing the diver to explore a broader variety of diving to a maximum of 30 m (100 ft) deep
The course contains 2 mandatory specialties (Navigation and Deep Dive Specialty), whilst the remaining portion of the course consists of three elective specialties and you can choose from the following adventure dives depending on availability onsite:
Dive Against Debris (AWARE)
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Enriched Air Diver Nitrox
Digital Underwater Photographer
Search and Recovery
The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills for you to become more comfortable in the water.
