Boa Vista is the third largest island of the Archipelago Cape Verde. Like Sal Island, it is flat, surrounded by volcanoes and measures 620 sqm. It is covered with enormous white sand dunes, including the Deserto Viana which has been formed by Saharan sand blown over from the mainland Africa.
Boa Vista features a broad diversity of marine life like various species of rays and nurse sharks, and is said to be the third most important loggerhead nesting site in the world, usually during the months of June throughout September. The dive sites are located in the northern of the island, therefore, we organize daily transfers for guests staying at Touareg at US$10 per person only.
IMPORTANT: Please note that during the winter months the sea conditions may be rougher than usual which may affect the operation.
Scuba diving equipment allows you to visit the underwater world by making it possible to breathe, see and move comfortably while below the surface
