The Republic of Maldives is a tropical island nation, consisting of 1,190 islands grouped in 26 ring-shaped atolls. The sunny side of life is blessed with stunning white sand beaches, an amazing underwater world, abundance of marine life, crystal clear warm waters and plenty of sunshine and temperatures around 30°C throughout the year with occasional monsoon rains mainly occurring between June and August.
Around our islands, the Indian Ocean offers a variety of dive sites including wall dives, plateau dives and inlet dives of the atoll. During our dives, you can usually see turtles, different kinds of sharks like white tips, black tips, gray reef sharks, leopard and nurse sharks, and rays such as eagle rays, mobulas, stingrays, porcupine stingrays, jenkins stingrays, marble rays.
Manta season is between mid of January and mid of May, and you may be lucky spotting some. Whale sharks are very rare, and dolphins mainly come closer during our boat rides.
